According to the Notice [2012] No. 26 issued by the National Development and Reform Commission, Hydrochina Huadong is officially granted the new Class A qualification certificate for engineering consultancy.

Based on the new qualification certificate, the approved business scope of Hydrochina Huadong for engineering consultancy covers 17 professions, thus, not only all original professional qualification is kept but also the business scope and fields are expanded. The qualification for five professions is upgraded, in which, the qualification for highway engineering is upgraded to Class A. The qualification for the architecture profession is extended to architecture including civil air defence engineering, and the professional qualification for landscape architecture is kept.

Especially, in the new Class A qualification certificate of engineering consultancy, new business qualification and permission are increased. All professions cover the corresponding contents of energy saving and emission reduction as well as environmental improvement; the unit which obtains the qualification for compiling the project feasibility study report and the project application report is entitled to prepare the project energy saving appraisal documents; and the unit which holds the assessment consultation qualification is entitled to review the project energy saving appraisal documents.

As for the newly granted Class A qualification for engineering consultancy, Hydrochina Huadong’s professional qualification quantity and level not only rank first in the companies of Power Construction Corporation of China, but also rank among the first in the units with Class A engineering consulting qualification, therefore, Hydrochina Huadong has been praised by the relevant leaders from China National Association of Engineering Consultants (CNAEC).

Depending on the new Class A engineering consulting qualification, Hydrochina Huadong will continuously upgrade its business ability and level, develop its engineering consulting business and market, and realize the new “Three-step” development strategy target!
