The construction of Padingliangzi Wind Farm in Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province was started on March 18, 2012. Affected by rainy season, the construction is behind the schedule and the civil work hasn’t been fully completed currently. 11 WTGs of the first batch were put into commercial operation on January 11, 2013 after a construction period of 11 months.

With an installed capacity of 49.5MW, Padingliangzi Wind Farm is located in the hilly area of the west of Xiding Township, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province. 33 Goldwind 1.5MW WTGs are installed in the wind farm, with a hub height of 70m and a runner diameter of 87m.

A new step-up station has been constructed in the wind farm, and it connects the 110kV Menghai Substation via a 110 KV line. And there are reservations for the access capacity of the Phase-2 project.

The wind farm is invested by the Southwest Branch of CGN Wind Energy Co., Ltd, and based on cost estimation in the feasibility study stage, the total static investment of the project is 426 million yuan.
