Recently, reports of good news come in quick succession in the rail transit sector of Hydrochina Huadong. On March 5, Hydrochina Huadong won the design bid of Fuzhou Metro Line 2, and on May 11, Hydrochina Huadong won the design bid for Phase-1 DX4-SJ2 Project of Hangzhou Metro Line 4.

There are 18 stations set for Hangzhou Metro Line 4 with a total length of 20.8km, and among them, 7 stations are interchange stations for transfer respectively to Hangzhou Metro Line 1, Line 2, Line 5, Line 6, Line 7 and Line 9. Two packages are set for Phase-1 Project of Hangzhou Metro Line 4. The Package DX4-SJ2 is located in the Fuxing and Qianjiangxincheng central business districts, and it includes 4 stations and 4 intervals with a total investment of 1.563 billion yuan. It is planned that the construction of the project will be commenced in early 2014 and completed at the end of 2018. The design unit is required to complete preliminary design at the end of June 2013, and at present, Hydrochina Huadong has proceeded to the related work.

The award of this contract stands for a new breakthrough of Hydrochina Huadong in the rail transit market and further upgrade of its market brand and reputation. Meanwhile, it demonstrates that the Hydrochina Huadong’s enterprise spirit of “Responsibility, Efficiency, Excellence” embodied in the design of Hangzhou Metro Line 1 has been highly recognized by the Hangzhou Municipal Government and the clients.
