From 20 to 23 May 2013, China Three Gorges Corporation hosted a review meeting in Chengdu for the tender design reports of the water conveyance and power generation system and the flood discharging tunnel of Baihetan Hydropower Project.

At the meeting, Hydrochina Huadong gave a presentation of tender design for civil works of the water conveyance & power generation system and flood discharging tunnel of Baihetan Hydropower Project, and serious discussion and review followed. The meeting reached the conclusion: the tender design reports submitted by Hydrochina Huadong have detailed and comprehensive contents and have basically met the depth requirements of the tender design period; the reports can be taken as the basis for preparation of tender documents and design of construction drawings after modified according to the meeting review comments.
