On May 28, 2013, after difficult negotiation, Hydrochina Corporation in cooperation with Hydrochina Huadong, successfully signed the EPC contract for TAPAL Wind Farm in Pakistan with TAPAL Wind Power Corporation in Beijing.

The project site of TAPAL Wind Farm is located in the northeast of Sindh Province in Pakistan, about 150 km from Karachi City. With a total installed capacity of 30MW, the project will be equipped with 12 sets of 2.5 MW wind turbine generators (WTG) and each WTG will be equipped with one box-type substation. The work scope includes civil works, installation and equipment supply, and the EPC work ranges from design, procurement, construction, installation, test, commissioning and operation maintenance after handover.
