The First-class Award of Power Scientific Technical in China for “Study and Application for Key Construction Technique for Design of Deep-buried Traffic Tunnel of Jinping Hydropower Station”
 

On Jan. 26th, Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering and the electric power scientific academia in Beijing jointly held a New-Year get-together together with the award ceremony for science and technology achievements in China’s electric power circle. HYDROCHINA HUADONG wins the First-class Award of Power Scientific and Technical Achievement for “Study and Application of Key Design and Construction Technique for Deep-buried Traffic Tunnel of Jinping Hydropower Station”.

The Jinping II Project is an epoch-marking magnificent work for HYDROCHINA HUADONG. The successful design and construction of the deep-buried traffic tunnel (auxiliary tunnel) is a remarkable indication for the existence, progress and investment of the Jinping II Project; the professionals of HYDROCHINA HUADONG have carried out numerous researches on key issues, and have achieved important technical accomplishments such as geological forecast, handling of high-pressure gushing water in karst area, rock burst control and long-distance tunnel ventilation, etc. The award affirms the contribution of HYDROCHINA HUADONG and its staff.
