Xiamen, July 10-12, 2013, Hydropower and Water Resources Planning and Design General Institute jointly with Hydropower Reservoir Resettlement and Development Agency of Fujian Provincial People’s Government held a review meeting for the “Land Requisition and Resettlement Planning Report of Xiamen Pumped Storage Power Station”(hereinafter referred to as the Report). At the meeting, the participants listened to the presentation of the Report made by Hydrochina Huadong and adequate discussion was subsequently conducted by groups. The review comments reached at the meeting are as follows: for the compiling of the Report, Hydrochina Huadong followed the provisions of the “Regulations on Land Requisition Compensation and Resettlement for Construction of Large and Medium-sized Water Conservancy and Hydropower Projects” and the relative policies and regulations of Fujian Province and Xiamen City, and fulfilled the relevant confirmation procedures on the basis of due consultation with local governments and the resettlers. The Report has comprehensive contents and the main design results have basically met the technical standards for land requisition and resettlement planning and design of hydropower projects. The Report successfully passed the review.
