In the recently announced assessment result of the projects supported by National Natural Science Foundationof China, two research projects of HYDROCHINA HUADONG have won the grants: one is Dr. Sheng Sheng’s “Study on the Habitat Sequence Variation of the River and Biodiversity Conservation Mechanism under the Hydroelectric Development”and the other is Dr. Li Liangquan’s “Study on Anisotropic Mechanical Characteristics of Columnar Jointed Rock Mass under Middle-High In-situ Stress”. Each project won a 250,000 yuan grant fromthe Youth Science Fundunder National Natural Science Foundation.

So far, HYDROCHINA HUADONG has won grants for six research projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China in three consecutive years.
