On Sep. 3, 2013, with the smooth connection of the hub-blade combination with the host machine, the first WTG (21# WTG) of Yunfeng No.2 Wulipo Wind Farm was successfully installed in Wuzhong, Ningxia. The project is invested by Wuzhong Wulipo Wind Power Co., Ltd., a subsidiary company of Hydrochina Huadong.

Phase-1 Wulipo Wind Farm Project will be equipped with 33 wind turbine generators(WTG) with unit capacity of 1.5MW and a total installed capacity of 49.5MW. The step-up substation has a capacity of 300MW, the voltage level is 110kV, and the transmission line is about 39km long. In order to ensure smooth installation of the first WTG, the construction contractor carefully organized construction and the technical personnel from the EPC contractor, the Supervisor, the WTG manufacturer and the tower manufacturer made concerted efforts to ensure successful erection of the first WTG.  

The personnel of the construction contractor of the Phase-1 Wulipo Wind Farm Project stepped into the project site in succession for construction at the end of April 2013. Presently, the construction of the step-up substation works and the main works of the structures and buildings related to the 100MW substation works to be put into operation for the first batch have been completed and decoration is underway. The electrical equipment installation has been started in succession and it is planned concreting will be fully finished around Sep. 20. The successful installation of the first WTG has laid a solid foundation for ensuring the Phase-1 Project will be put into commercial operation at the end of October.
