At 9:00 pm (local time) on Sept. 25, 2013, an EPC contract signing ceremony was held for the extension of Nigeria DadinKowa Hydropower Plant in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria. Through Hydrochina Huadong’s long-term efforts, an agreement was finally reached and the contract was signed on the evening of September 25. It is another new achievement of Hydrochina Huadong achieved in the Nigerian market.

Dadingkowa Hydropower Plant is located on the Gongola River in Gombe State of the northeastern Nigeria, approximately 45km to the east of Gombe City. The hydropower plant will house two 20MW vertical Francis units, and the scope of work includes the design, procurement, equipment supply, civil construction, installation and testing.
