Since the “12^th Five-Year Plan”, Hangzhou Municipal Government has attached great importance to the Top 10 industries, including cultural originality, tourism and recreation, financial services, e-commerce, information software, advanced equipment manufacture, Internet of things, bio-medicine, energy-saving and environmental protection, new energy, and taken them as the main target for the economic restructuring, as a result, the top ten industries have been developed continuously and rapidly, the growth rate of 2011 and 2012 was up to 13.6%, and the rapid increase of percentage of top ten industries has effectively promoted the economic restructuring and upgrading in Hangzhou. At the same time, a number of key enterprises with comprehensive strength and a significant role in promoting industrial restructuring and upgrading are emerged. The leading group office of Hangzhou Top 10 Industrial Developmentcarried out the assessment among 300 key enterprises in 2013. Hydrochina Huadong, subjected to the enterprise application, recommendation of district and counties, and experts’ evaluation organized by the leading group office, was identified as Key Enterprises of 2013 Hangzhou Top 10 Industries.

In order to strengthen monitoring, prediction and analysis of the development of Hangzhou Top 10 industries and promote their rapid development, the Hangzhou Leading Group Office to Promote Top 10 Industrial Development and Hangzhou Statistic Bureau hosted jointly the policy training and supervision meeting in Hangzhou on September 27. Hydrochina Huadong’s representatives attended the meeting and received the plaque.
