Hydrochina Huadong signed the contract of “Digital Power Station Model Research Project”with Zhejiang Xianju Pumped storage Co., LTD., at the end of September 2013, eventually winning the single-source procurement of State Grid Xinyuan Company LTD after nearly two years of project tracking and through many rounds of negotiations.

The main tasks under the contract include research, development and build up the basic platform and related operation systems for life-cycle management of the project based on the achievements in 3-D design of the Xianju Pumped Storage, such as engineering data centers, digital transfer management system, digital archive systems, etc., covering the fields of topography, geologicaly, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical engineering.

The official signing of this contract is an important “milestone” of Hydrochina Huadong’s development in 3-D digital application, indicating a new start of HYDROCHINA HUADONG in developing the life-cycle digital project management.
