On Nov. 13, 2013, the stay ring replacement was successfully completed for the first unit of Bang Lang HPP in Thailand by Hydrochina Huadong. The replacement highlights the biggest difficulty of the project, which is rare at home and abroad. Hydrochina Huadong relied on the technical strength of the whole company and went forward in exploration. All efforts made from the original data collection, comparison and research until the determination and implementation of final scheme embody the courage, wisdom and sweat of all the project personnel. The completion of water pressure tests and concrete pouring for stay ring and spiral case of the first unit marks a phasic victory achieved in project implementation.
