On Nov. 4, 2013, co-witnessed by Mott Macdonald Ltd. in UK, Electricity of Viet Nam(EVN) and a special equipment inspection institution in Vietnam, the powerhouse bridge crane of Song Bung 4 Hydropower Project in Vietnam contracted by Hydrochina Huadong successfully passed the third-party inspection and acceptance check. The Employer gave high praise for that Hydrochina Huadong completed powerhouse bridge crane works 20 days in advance and the crane passed the third-party inspection.

No doubt, both the Vietnam standards implemented by the third-party special equipment inspection institution to which EVN attaches great importance and the international standards of “high standards and strict requirements” implemented by Mott Macdonald Ltd. in UK put forward higher requirements for the implementation of the project. The Song Bung 4 Project Department of Hydrochina Huadong made elaborate organization and plan in advance, as a result, the node construction schedule of the project was ultimately ensured. The bridge crane in powerhouse is the key node of the project, so its smooth acceptance laid a good foundation for the subsequent installation and grid-connected power generation next year.
