On November 20, 2013, the 1^st WTG（3#）of Lunan Wind Farm was successfully installed. Lunan Wind Farm Project is the first wind power EPC project contracted by Hydrochina Huadong.

Invested by Huidong Wind Power Development Co., Ltd.under Sichuan Energy Industry Investment Group Co., Ltd., Lunan Wind Farm is located in Huidong County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and the altitude is 2800m～3050m. The wind farm is equipped with 33 sets of FD93-1500kW WTGs, with a total installed capacity of 49.5MW. A new 110kV step-up substation is constructed in the wind farm, with which the generated power can be transmitted to the 110 kV side of 220kV step-up substation of Lama Wind Farm via one circuit of 18km long 110kV transmission line.

The construction of Lunan Wind Farm was formally started on May 3, 2013. Currently, the main works of 110kV step-up substation has been completed, and the installation of electrical equipment is near the end, the erection of posts, towers and iron tower of collector lines has been completed, and the erection of conducting wire and the construction of cable laying are about to start. The transmission works goes smoothly, and the concreting of WTG foundation has been fully completed. The successful installation of 1^st WTG has laid a solid foundation for ensuring the commercial operation of the wind farm.
