From Jan. 6 to Jan. 23, 2014, the Nigeria Kainji Project Department successively organized pre-assembly acceptance of 1G5 unit runner and distributor, and factory acceptance of the electrical cabinets for the supervisory control and protection systems for Kainji Project in Nigeria. Meantime, the project design liaison meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the Employer, the Supervisor and the manufacturer, Harbin Electric Machinery Co., LTD.
From Jan. 6 to Jan.16, the preassembly acceptance of 1G5 unit runner and distributor was conducted in Harbin Electric Machinery Co., LTD. Witnessed by the Supervisor, the runner test and distributor pre-assembly test successfully passed the acceptance. From Jan. 13 to Jan.17, the acceptance of the electrical cabinets for the supervisory control and protection systems was carried out in ABB Bailey Beijing Engineering Co., Ltd. Witnessed by the Employer and the Supervisor, the local control panels and cabinets of the supervisory control system, the station control level computer for the central control room, and the panels and cabinets for the protection system successfully passed the factory acceptance. The distributor and runner of IG5 unit, and the electrical cabinets for the supervisory control and protection systems were packaged and delivered to the site in time after passing the acceptance.
From Jan. 20 to Jan. 23, Hydrochina Huadong held the design liaison meeting with the Employer, the Supervisor and the manufacturer, Harbin Electric Machinery Co., LTD. The Employer visited the factory of Harbin Electric Machinery Co., LTD and associated equipment during the meeting. At the meeting, the participating parties reviewed the project accelerating work schedule. Adequate discussions were conducted for the design issues existing in drawings of main machine, governor and exciter and the present main problems in site construction and solutions. The work done by Hydrochina Huadong was fully affirmed by the Employer and the Supervisor.
