The Conference on Deepening Reform and Accelerating Development of Zhejiang Construction Industry was ceremoniously held in Hangzhou on the morning of February 28.  The conference saw the award ceremony of the honorarytitle of the first batch of Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Survey and Design Masters. Zhang Chunsheng and Shan Zhigang from Hydrochina Huadong, as Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Survey and Design Masters, attended the conference and received the commendations.

    Xia Baolong,secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of Zhejiang Province Standing Committee of the People’s Congressgave a cordialinterview to the masters and made an important speech. He highlyappreciated them, and encouraged them to make persistent efforts, strive for greater achievements, and play a larger role in comprehensively upgrading the project construction level of Zhejiang.

    The recommendation and naming method of Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Survey and Design Masterswas established by the People‘s Government of Zhejiang Province, and the honorary title is awarded to the academic or professional leaders who have won significant achievements in the field of engineering survey and design and enjoy high reputation inside and outside the province. The recommendation and naming work is held once every two years, and this is the first time to award the title of Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Survey and Design Masters.
