On June 19, 2014, the EPC Contract for Communication Network Construction Project Phase II was signed by Mr. Chen Yining, secretary of CPC Committee of POWERCHINA HUADONG Engineering Corporationand Mr. Huang Xinglong, President of (Cambodia) Fiber Optic Communication Network Co., Ltd. It is the first EPC project undertaken by POWERCHINA HUADONG Engineering Corporation in Cambodia, so the signing of the contract will further promote its development of international market in Cambodia and its surrounding countries as well, and play a positive role in expanding its overseas business scope, diversifying the project contracting modes, and accumulating its EPC project management experience.

Covering all the major cities in Cambodia and focusing on optical access network construction of the entire Cambodia, the said project has been greatly supported by the Cambodian Prime Minister and the Cambodian Government. Subject to the signed EPC Contract, the Phase II project mainly includes the construction and installation for the civil works of direct burying of the planned 2300km long fiber optic of the trunk line (including branch trunk line), 322km long underground communication pipelines and the optical access network with 300,000 users.
