On July 21, 2014, six WTGs of the first batch were put into commercial operation in Yinzhou Baiyanshan/Fenghua Niujiaoshan Wind Farm, for which POWERCHINA HUADONG ENGINEERING CORPORATION LIMITED (POWERCHINA HUADONG) undertakes engineering investigation and design.

The project is located in two mountain areas with abundant wind energy resources in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, namely, Baiyanshan Area in Yinzhou and Niujiaoshan Area in Fenghua. With a total installed capacity of 67.5MW, it is equipped with fifteen UP2000-96 wind turbine generators (WTG) manufactured by China Guodian United Power Technology Co., Ltd., and the WTG hub height is 80m. In addition, an 110kVstep-up substationhas been built as the control center of the wind farm and the living and working base for the staff members. All the electricity generated by the WTGs will be connected to the 110kV Quchi-Haiyan Transmission Line after boosted via the step-up substation.

The project is invested by Guodian Yinzhou Wind Power Co., Ltd., and POWERCHINA HUADONG is responsible for all-phase engineering investigation and design of the Project.
