On August 22, 2014, a technical acceptance meeting was held for eight research projects of “Key Technology Development and Demonstration for Localization of 100000t/d Membrane-Based Desalination”（2009BAB47B00）under the National Science and Technology Program in Zhoushan Liuheng Water Affairs Co., Ltd. During the meeting, the experts of the Acceptance Committee listened to the reports on the technical research work made by Zhoushan Liuheng Water Affairs Co., Ltd., visited the site, and reviewed the relevant technical information. After questioning and answering as well as adequate discussion, they reached an agreement that: the technical achievements for the following eight projects have reached the targets of the contract, including Study on 12500t/D Equipment Integrated Technology and Assembly Technology for 100000t/d Project, Demonstration of 100000t/d Reverse Osmosis Seawater Desalination and Study on Operation and Maintenance, Development of Seawater Desalination High-Pressure Pumps, Development of Energy Recovery Unit Device, Technology Development and Production of Membrane for Seawater Desalination; and they pass acceptance. 100000t/d capacity is currently the largest reverse osmosis capacity for single unit, and a number of achievements take the lead in China and have reached the international advanced level.
