On Oct. 15, 2014, POWERCHINA HUADONG received the Final Acceptance Certificate of FEKE I Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant Project issued by the Employer, Turkey AKKUR ENERJI URETIM TICARET VE SANYI A.S., providing a fitting finale to this project. This is POWERCHINA HUADONG’s 3^rd project successfully completed in Turkey market following the completion of BURC and FEKE-II hydroelectric power projects.

    FEKE I Hydroelectric Power Plant equipped with two 15MW Francis turbine-generator units is the 3^rd complete electromechanical equipment supply project undertaken by POWERCHINA HUADONG in Turkey hydropower market, and also is one of complete sets of electrical and mechanical equipment supply projects including installation work. The contract was signed on April 15, 2008, and the work scope includes the whole process of the design, procurement, delivery, installation and commissioning, acceptance of the electrical and mechanical equipment (except gates) and switchyard of the hydroelectric power plant. POWERCHINA HUADONG’s personnel officially stepped into the site for installation on June 13, 2011, and the goods delivery and electrical and mechanical installation lasted more than one year. On June 25, 2012, the project passed the acceptance of the Ministry of Energy of Turkey and was officially put into commercial operation (one month ahead of the construction schedule specified in the Contract). And POWERCHINA HUADONG obtained the Temporary Acceptance Certificate issued by the Employer on July 20, 2012 and the project entered the two-year warranty period. Within the warranty period, all equipment are in stable operation, and all indexes meet requirements of the Contract. Finally, POWERCHINA HUADONG smoothly obtained the Final Acceptance Certificate issued by the Employer.
