Unit 1 of Song Bung 4 Hydropower Project in Vietnam, for which POWERCHINA HUADONG undertakes the supply of complete set of electromechanical equipment, passed successfully 72-hour test-run on Sept. 30, 2014, and then the project entered formally the 30-day stable commercial operation. And POWERCHINA HUADONG has won substantial victory in the implementation of the project and laid a solid foundation for smooth operation of Unit 2.

    Song Bung 4 Project, a project loaned by the Asian Development Bank, is equipped with 2 Francis turbine-generator units with a total installed capacity of 156MW. POWERCHINA HUADONG undertakes the supply of complete set of electromechanical equipment for the project. In two years, all members of the Song Bung 4 Project Team made enormous efforts for the smooth execution of the project, and were highly praised by the Project Owner and the Supervisor. The Project Owner, the Supervisor and POWERCHINA HUADONG held a meeting for handover of Unit 1 after it successfully passed 72-hour test-run. Song Bung 4 Project Management Bureau expressed sincere gratitude to the project team from POWERCHINA HUADONG for their hard work and completion of the construction ahead of schedule, and gave high appraisal for the quality of goods supplied and installation and the services provided by POWERCHINA HUADONG.
