On Oct. 31, 2014, Unit 7 of Jinping-II Hydropower Station was subjected to 72h trial run, and officially put into operation. During the 72h test run, all the systems of the power station were in normal operation and all technical parameters met the requirements. Through the close cooperation among the construction parties concerned, Unit 5, Unit 6, and Unit 7 of Jinping-II Hydropower Station have been put into operation according to the set goal of 2014, and Unit 8 is also planned to be put into operation by the end of November this year.
