On Jan. 15, 2015, the final acceptance certificate (FAC) for Phase-2 Cambodia Communication Network Construction Project was issued by Cambodia Fiber Optical Communication Network Co., Ltd.(CFOCN), indicating the successful completion of the project and a new record in communications engineering performance of Powerchina Huadong.
The project, as the supplement and perfection for the Cambodia national optical fiber communication network trunk line construction project, has a vital significance in promoting informationization popularization in the Kingdom of Cambodia. The project mainly includes directly buried installation of fibre optic cable and user coverage. The directly buried installation of fibre optic cable was conducted all over Cambodia, and the total routing length is up to 1337km. The user coverage is mainly concentrated in many developed provinces and cities such as Phnom Penh, Battambang and Siem Reap, with total users of 127,000 households.
