The rotor of Unit 1 of Nam Muc Hydropower Project in Vietnam was installed smoothly at 16:06 on April 17, 2015, which marks that the installation & commissioning of the first turbine-generator unit of the project has entered the final stage.

The total installed capacity of the project is 2×22.1MW, the head range is 48.5-50.4-52.6m, and rated speed is 214.3 rpm. It is the first electromechanical equipment supply project including equipment installation undertaken by Powerchina Huadong in Vietnam market. During the implementation, the project schedule was delayed significantly due to the Owner’s cause, which caused difficulties to the project implementation. The completion of rotor installation of the first unit marks that the project implementation has made phasic progress, and laid a solid foundation for the goal of power generation as soon as possible.
