On November 5 (local time) in Pakistan, foundation concrete pouring was completed for 1st wind turbine generator(WTG) of Master Wind Power EPC Project in Pakistan. The successful completion marks that the construction of the Project has entered a new stage and the construction of the main civil works of the WTGs has been kicked off.
Master Wind Power Project is one of the three wind power projects being performed by HDEC in Pakistan. It is located in Jhimpir Region of Thatta, Sindh Province in southern Pakistan, and a total of 33 GE WTGs with unit capacity of 1.5MW will be installed, with a total installed capacity of 49.5 MW. The Project is the 1st project for which HDEC signed the contract independently with the Pakistan side, and it’s another power development project financed by international financial institutions and implemented in the mode of Independent Power Developer (IPP) after the Sapphire Wind Power Project.
