Recently, the runners of all wind turbines of Lamthakong Wind Power Phase II EPC Project in Thailand have been hoisted by PowerChina Huadong.

The Project is located in Lamthakong, Nakhon Ratchasima Region at the northeast of Thailand. It is the first wind power project for PowerChina Huadong in Thailand. The total installed capacity is 24MW, namely, 12 GE units of 2MW each. The runner diameter is 116m and the hub height is 94m. During the project construction, the staff of EPC Project Department from PowerChina Huadong were ready to take on responsibilities and brave difficulties. Despite all external disturbances such as complex terrains and bad weather, they managed to coordinate the whole process of transportation, installation and acceptance, conducted all-round security monitoring and quality control, and ensured the successful hoisting.

The project laid a good foundation for PowerChina Huadong to expand its businesses in Thailand market and established a good brand image. The project team will continue to implement the enterprise spirit of “Responsibility, Efficiency, and Excellence”, carry forward to perform the contract, and strive to put all units into commercial operation.
