PowerChina Huadong Won Gold Awards of National Quality Projects

Recently, 2016-2017 National Quality Engineering Awards were announced by China Association of Construction Enterprise Management. Two investigation and design projects, namely SPIC Binhai North District H1#100MW offshore wind power project and Jinsha River Longkaikou hydropower project, and 2 supervision projects, namely, Xiaowan Hydropower Project on Lancang River in Yunnan, Rail Transit Line 1 Phase I project in Nanchang won “Gold Awards of National Quality Projects”. Among them, SPIC Binhai North District H1#100MW offshore wind power project is China’s first gold medal project in offshore wind power and it also won the first prize of excellent design for construction projects.

In addition, Riverside Landscape Wetland Park EPC Project in Dongyang City undertaken by PowerChina Huadong won the Excellence Award of National Quality Projects for the first time and the third prize of Excellent Design for Construction Projects. Hangzhou Metro Line 2 Shushan Rail Yard and comprehensive basement area project (investigation and design), Office Building, Fitness Center, Catering and Conference Center, Underground Works of Huadong Engineering Corporation (construction, investigation, design and supervision), West Blocks of Central Area of Hangzhou Normal University Cangqian Campus Phase I project (investigation) won the Excellence Awards of National Quality Projects.
