On June 27, 2012, HYDROCHINA HUADONG obtained the Final Acceptance Certificate of FEKE-II Hydropower Project in Turkey issued by Turkey Akkur Enerji Corporation, drawing a satisfactory conclusion to the project. Following the BURC Hydropower Project, the FEKE-II Project is the second one that HYDROCHINA HUADONG has successfully completed in Turkey.

FEKE- II Hydropower Station, equipped with two 35MW Francis turbine-generator units, is the second hydropower project undertaken by HYDROCHINA HUADONG in Turkey and is also one of its complete E&M equipment supply projects including installation. Signed on November 30, 2007, the contract covers the whole process of the design, procurement, delivery, installation and testing, and acceptance of the entire station’s E&M equipment (except the gate) and the switchyard. The project was officially commenced on January 7, 2008 and through over two years’ efforts in design, procurement, delivery and installation, it passed the Completion Acceptance of   Turkish Energy Ministry and was officially put into commercial operation on December 23, 2010. On March 1, 2011, HYDROCHINA HUADONG received the Temporary Acceptance Certificate (TAC) issued by the project owner and the project entered the Warranty Period. In this period, the equipment had been in stable operation and all indicators met the contract requirements. Finally, HYDROCHINA HUADONG got the Final Acceptance Certificate of the project from the project owner.

The success of this project helps HYDROCHINA HUADONG establish a positive image, earn a well-deserved reputation and achieve satisfactory engineering performance in Turkish hydropower market. In addition, valuable experience has been accumulated for the implementation of other projects in Turkey.
