The Dafeng Wind Farm Project (70MW), located on the northern and southern sides of the harbor district of Dafeng, Jiangsu, is equipped with forty-seven 1.5MW wind turbine-generators (WTG), with a total installed capacity of 70.5MW. The wind farm employs Goldwind GW82/1500 WTGs, with rated power 1500kW, the hub height 85m, and the rotor diameter 82m. Invested and constructed by Longyuan Dafeng Wind Power Co., Ltd., the project was commenced in November 2010. On June 23, 2012, the WTGs of the first batch were connected to the grid, and on August 11, all WTGs were connected to the grid for commercial operation.
