On Sept. 1, 2012, a review meeting was held on Demonstration Report on Compliance of Construction Planning of Baihetan Hydropower Project on the Jinsha Riverand Evaluation Report on Flood Control of Baihetan Hydropower Project on the Jinsha River. At the meeting, the participants listened to the presentation of the special reports made by Changjiang Survey, Planning, Design and Research Co., Ltd.and Hydrochina Huadong and adequate discussion was conducted on the reports by the participating experts and representatives. The review comments reached at the meeting are as follows: the two reports basically meet the requirements set forth in relevant specifications and guidelines and it is consented that the reports will be submitted for approval after revised in accordance with the appraisal and review opinions. The successful passing review of the above-mentioned reports has laid a sound foundation for approval of the construction of Baihetan Hydropower Project.
