Wujibu Wind Farm Connected to the Grid

Construction of Wujibu Wind Farmof Shangdong Longyuan Group was commenced on October 1, 2011 and on October 5, 2012, sixteen WTGs of the first batch were connected to the Grid for power generation. Presently, a remaining WTG has not been installed and a circuit of collector line is under construction. It is expected that all WTGs will be connected to the Grid for power generation at the end of October 2012.

Located in the coastal tidal flat areas of northern Zhanhua County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, Wujibu Wind Farm is at the south side of the completed Tao’erhe 1 Wind Farm and on the beach land to the east of the Tao’er River and on the west side of Haitian Avenue. With convenient traffic conditions, the project site is accessible via Haitian Avenue and expressways.

Totally thirty-three UP86-1500 WTGs will be installed for Wujibu Wind Farm, with a total installed capacity of 49.5MW. The WTG hub height is 80m and the rotor diameter is 86m. The energy generated by the wind farm will be connected to the 110kV step-up substation of the completed Tao’erhe 1 Wind Farm.
