Construction of Henan Yanshan Wind Farm Project of China Datang Corporation was commenced on March 1, 2012, and 9 WTGs of the first batch were put into commercial operation on Oct. 26, 2012. It is expected that all the 25 WTGs will be put into commercial operation at the end of November. Located in Shanxian, Sanmenxia City, Henan Province and bordering the Yellow River at the north, the project is of the inland wind farm in mountain area. 25 WTGs are installed and the total installed capacity is 40.5MW. Among them, 19 CCWE1500/82 WTGs were made by China Creative Wind Energy Co., Ltd. with unit capacity of 1500kW, rotor diameter 82m, and hub height 70m, and 6 WT2000/93 WTGs were manufactured by XJ Group Corporation with unit capacity of 2000 kW, rotor diameter 93m, and hub height 80m. The electric energy generated by the wind farm is connected with the 110 kV substation of the completed Datang Qingyuan Phase I and Phase II wind farms.
