All the 24 WTGs of Gaopai Wind Farm designed by Hydrochina Huadong were put into commercial operation on Nov. 21, 2012.

Gaopai Wind Farm is located in the coastal area at Bashuo Town of Dongfang City in the western coast of Hainan Province. It is the first wind power project in Hainan designed by Hydrochina Huadong. The construction of the project was officially started in October 2011, and installation, testing and commercial operation of the first WTG was fulfilled in October 2012. With a total installed capacity of 48MW, the project is equipped with 24 Vestas 2.0MW WTGs. With hub height of 80m and rotor diameter of 90m, nowadays, it is the most advanced WTG presently.
