On April 12, the Waterfall Scenic Spot in Tiantai Mountain contracted by HDEC had opened for trial operation. The highest waterfall in China unveiled its curtain again after 60 years.

The landscape project of the Waterfall of Tiantai Mountain is located at the west foot of Tongbai Mountain in Tiantai County, Taizhou City, covering an area of 67.39 hectares. Waterfall of Tiantai Mountain, originally called Tongbai Waterfall, also known as Sanjing Waterfall, is the highest waterfall in China for a height of 325 meters and a width of 90 meters. The development of the scenic area of the Waterfall of Tiantai Mountain is an iconic project in such a famous and beautiful place, Tiantai County. It is the highlight of the initiative of Poem Road, the practice of Two Mountain Theory and green development of Tiantai County, and a milestone of Tiantai all-for-one tourism in the near future as well.

In 1950s, the Waterfall of Tiantai Mountain cut off giving way to agricultural development and hydroelectricity construction. Until 60 years later, in 2013 the Government of Tiantai County made a critical decision to rebuild it into a staircase high waterfalls with stable and adjustable annual flow rates. In 2016, the Government defined the Waterfall as the core site of Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area. As a typical project marking the natural beauty of Tiantai County, the Waterfall project was listed in the provincial key projects and provincial major demonstration projects.

HDEC had fully displayed our technical comprehensive advantages in landscaping reconstruction. Through the refined and normalized management, we greatly improved the waterfall scenic area and presented again the impressive power of nature. The scope of project includes: waterfall flow transformation, Nine Dragon Lake spot, tourist service center, mountain-top trail, glass-bottom bridge, high-speed elevator, etc. During the trial operation period, only the waterfall area, Nine Dragon Lake, tourist service center, and mountain-top trail are available. The other facilities will be opened in the near future.
