On April 10 in Pakistan, WTG 5 foundation in Pakistan Master Green project completed its final closing operation, marking the successful pouring of the first stepped WTG foundation constructed by our company.

Master Green project was commenced from September 2019, which was the first project of a new group of wind power projects contracted by HDEC in Pakistan. After days and nights of intensive preparation and supervision, and strict inspection and acceptance by the Owner, Master Green's first WTG foundation had finally been ready for pouring on April 9. Since April, hot season had begun in Sindh Pakistan, with the highest temperature at 36 °C during the day. The burning sun raises the temperature of the gravel aggregates and the water in the pool to a very high temperature. In order to ensure the concrete temperature and construction quality, the project team had formulated the Special Scheme of WTG Foundation Construction at Night in advance, and strictly checked every detail before construction to ensure the safety and quality in the whole process. Around 23 pm in the evening of April 9, as the first truck of concrete was poured to the pumper, the construction of the first foundation pouring work was started. At the witness of the Owner and the supervisors, after nearly 9 hours of continuous work, the first WTG foundation of Master Green project was finally poured successfully!

The COVID-19 is sweeping the world and has made it overwhelmed across Pakistan. In order to deal with the pandemic, the Pakistani government had to order a suspension of air traffic and closure of the cities. Severely affected by the virus situation, the project is at a shortage of manpower and materials and has taken huge pressure from coronavirus prevention and control. Despite of this, the project team had actively issued emergency plans, strictly abided by HDEC’s rules for prevention and control, aiming to control the virus without affecting the project progress. The successful pouring of the first WTG foundation of the Master Green project in Pakistan laid a solid foundation for the project team to overcome the pandemic and gave them confidence to complete the project.
