HDEC Signed EPC Contract of Philippines Lal-lo 133 MW Solar PV Project

Philippines, April 8 - HDEC signed an EPC contract of the 133MW Solar PV Project in Lal-lo Philippines, with AC Energy, a subsidiary of the energy sector of Ayala Group, and Cleantech under the brand of POWERCHINA. Zhao Zhihao, the country representative of POWERCHINA Philippines, signed the contract with AC Energy Vice President Ms. Anabele and Cleantech President Mr. Aboy. Yu Nianchang, Deputy General Manager of the Marketing Department of HDEC International, Zhao Dawei, country representative of HDEC Vietnam, and Fang Sheng, country representative of HDEC Philippines, witnessed the contract signing online or in attendance.


The Lal-lo Solar PV Project in Philippines with an installed capacity of 133MW is located in Lal-lo, Cagayan Province, about 550 kilometers away from Manila. The scope of work contains the general contracting work of design, procurement and construction from the photovoltaic field to the low-voltage side of the main transformer (including the control building). The total construction period of the project is 350 days.


This project is the second solar PV plant in Philippines signed on EPC basis by HDEC with AC Energy after San Marcelino 283MW Solar PV project. The signing of this project marks that HDEC has taken the lead in the EPC market of solar PV in Philippines. AC Energy has power projects with a total capacity exceeding 3,800MW in Philippines, and has also developed projects in Vietnam, India, Australia and other countries, committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. At the signing ceremony, the two parties also exchanged views on the 217MW expansion project of San Marcelino Phase II. HDEC expressed that it will actively promote the expansion project while fulfilling the contract of the current project under construction.
