The Ambassador of Rwanda in China, H. E. James Kimonyo, visits the Nyabarongo-II Multipurpose Hydropower Project on 1 August.

After accompanying H. E. James Kimonyo to visit the site, project members then give a report to introduce the project situation, surrounding environment and project process, et al. The embassy appreciates ChinaPower and states that the Nyabarongo-II Multipurpose Hydropower Project is the largest one in Rwanda, so people from different industries are focusing on it. Therefore, he then says that the project department should make an appropriate plan to arrange resources and project period reasonably so that the project could be finished ahead of schedule.

Finally, the Ambassador also discussed the plans for the irrigation engineering project and other supporting projects with project members. The project director claims that the project department will cooperate with Rwanda’s government to promote the plan of supporting projects.
