Prioritizing Ecological and Green Development
Plan · Design · Build · Manage
On January 9, 2025, with the last core equipment, the gas-liquid separation equipment steadily in place, the hoisting work of the main equipment of the hydrogen production system for the green hydrogen project in Uzbekistan was successfully completed. This marked the most crucial step in the project construction, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation, commissioning and system operation.
The main equipment of the electrolytic cell and hydrogen production system is the important core of the project. It is heavy, large in size, and has extremely high requirements for hoisting technology. To ensure the successful completion of the hoisting task, the project team formulated a detailed equipment transfer and hoisting plan in advance, and conducted multiple technical reviews and simulation exercises in conjunction with the installation unit, logistics company, owner ACWA Power, and Maxam-Chirchiq Chemical Plant. At the same time, experienced hoisting experts were mobilized to provide on-site guidance to ensure that the entire process was flawless. During the hoisting process, the operation team strictly followed the safety operation procedures, overcame the challenges of narrow working space and large equipment size, and successfully achieved the precise positioning of six large-scale equipment within four days.
As the core process link of the project, the installation of the electrolytic cell and hydrogen production system marks the gradual entry of the hydrogen production process into the implementation stage. This not only provides an important guarantee for achieving the green hydrogen production goal of the project, but also sets a benchmark for the future technological development of the industry. Next, the project will accelerate the advancement of the installation and commissioning of the process and electrical systems, etc., striving to achieve the full operation of the system as soon as possible and contribute to the achievement of the "double carbon" goal.
